Jaron sighed, kicking the door the rest of the way closed. “I’ll get the story, don’t worry.”

“I expect to see you in the office day after tomorrow, at nine sharp. I want to see what you have so far,” Edward informed him.

Slamming his phone closed, Jaron resisted the urge to throw the damn thing across the room. Instead he just let it slip out of his fingers to the floor where it landed with the clothes he had been carrying. At that moment he didn’t give a damn that he was standing in the middle of his room in just his underwear, he was too close to losing everything and the sad part was he wasn’t sure what scared him more, not having a job or not having Marco. He hated the fact that this celebrity was getting the better of him, connecting with him in a way no one else had before.
